Terms of Service
These terms are the agreement between you and StageWire (ABN 92 878 043 149), a sole trader based in Australia. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.
Effective 11 August 2026
1. What StageWire does
StageWire reads publicly visible events from a Facebook Page you nominate, and renders them as a branded event guide that you embed on your own website. Each configured Page is called a Wire.
StageWire is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Facebook.
2. Your account
You must give accurate details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly at support@stagewire.co if you believe it has been accessed without your permission.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
3. Your content and the Pages you connect
You confirm that you own, operate, or are authorised to represent each Facebook Page you connect, and each website you embed a Wire on.
Event information displayed by StageWire originates from the Facebook Page you nominate. We reproduce what is publicly visible there. We do not author, verify, or moderate it, and we are not responsible for its accuracy, including dates, prices, lineups, or cancellations. If an event is wrong on Facebook, it will be wrong in your Wire.
You must not use StageWire to publish content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or that you do not have the right to display.
4. Plans, billing, and renewal
Prices are shown on the pricing page and are in Australian dollars. Unless stated otherwise, prices include GST where GST applies.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month or each year until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges to your nominated payment method at the then-current price for your plan.
You can cancel at any time from the billing area in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and your Wires stay live until then. Apart from the guarantee below, we do not provide pro-rata refunds for a partly used period, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with StageWire, email support@stagewire.co within 30 days of your first payment on the account and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason. The refund covers the first payment only, it is available once per account, and your Wires go inactive when it is issued. This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a payment fails, we may suspend your Wires. A suspended Wire shows a quiet notice in place of your event guide rather than disappearing from your website. Scheduled syncing stops while an account is suspended.
We may change prices. We will give at least 30 days notice before a change affects an existing subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Free sandbox
You can create an account and build a Wire in the Switchboard without paying. A sandbox account previews your design using sample events, and cannot publish a live embed or run real syncs. A paid subscription is required to take a Wire live.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- resell or sublicense the service without our written agreement;
- attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours;
- interfere with the service, including by circumventing rate limits, plan limits, or the watermark on Standard plans;
- use automated means to place unreasonable load on the service or on the sources it reads from.
7. Availability
We work to keep StageWire available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may need to suspend it for maintenance, and we depend on third parties including hosting, database, payment, and scraping providers, as well as on Facebook continuing to make Page events publicly visible.
If Facebook restricts access to a Page, that Page's events may stop updating. That is a limitation of the source, not a fault in the service, and of itself it does not entitle you to a refund of a period already used, though the 30-day guarantee in section 4 still applies if you are inside that window. We will show you when a Wire is affected.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using StageWire at any time by cancelling and deleting your Wires. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that we are legally required to act on, or that has not paid.
After termination we may delete your data. Export anything you want to keep before you cancel.
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Liability
Subject to section 9, and to the extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill; and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Where a non-excludable guarantee applies, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give reasonable notice by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use StageWire after that means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
