Data Deletion

How to disconnect StageWire from Facebook and have the data we hold about you and your Page deleted.

What we hold from Facebook

When you connect a Facebook Page to StageWire, we store the Page's name and ID, an access token that lets us read the Page's upcoming events, and a cached copy of those public event listings, including titles, dates, descriptions, and cover images.

We only read. We never post to your Page, and we do not collect your friends list, messages, or any other personal Facebook data.

1. Remove StageWire from Facebook

This stops our access straight away, and the stored access token stops working.

  1. On Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Business integrations.
  3. Find StageWire and select Remove.

2. Ask us to delete your data

Email support@stagewire.co from the email address on your StageWire account, with the subject "Data deletion request". If you do not have an account, include the Facebook Page the request is about.

We will delete your account, your Wires, the stored access tokens, and the cached event data within 30 days, and confirm by email when it is done. Billing records we must keep for tax purposes are retained for the period the law requires, and nothing else.

Deleting a Wire from the dashboard archives it rather than erasing it, so it can be restored. To erase it permanently, use the email request above.
